'Minigames' should enhance a game, not detract from it. How can a developer make such a great game yet be completely oblivious to the tedious mechanics that are left in it? I go into a room and there are TWO wall safes across from each other that you have to do the bypass minigame with.
The longer you make someone do something, the better it has to be. Games need MORE of that, not going to a planet and continually hovering over it with a little target reticule searching for minerals again and again and again.
Who wants to do that? Why did they ruin replayability so much just to have ' variety '? The Paragon/Renegade decisions during cutscenes is a great edition and makes you take ' gut ' decisions instead of careful deliberation. During a loading screen a message says to play the game again as a different gender and class, and yes that would be fun.but then you'll have to do the mining all over again to get materials. 'Mining', another good idea in small doses, but when so many upgrades require resources you'll have to spend far too much time on boring nonsense to get materials.
